The greatest tool an athlete has is their mind.

Our mind not only controls our breathing, our beating heart, and the rest our body, but it is also responsible for all performances, good and bad.

It’s a known fact talent and physical skill play an enormous role in every successful achievement.

In fact, your football mind is the most powerful piece of equipment you will ever own.

Once you understand your level of mental toughness, you’ll be able to use it to your advantage and you can start to develop your own mental game.

Developing mental toughness is a skill that can improve your performance and help you achieve excellence in the game. It is something not easy but still you can achieve it.

Have a Strong Desire for Excellence – Without passion everything is done with only half heart and it will give you only half results.

Make Firm Blueprints – Every long term goal you make has to be supported by a solid plan. Break that large long term goal into smaller manageable goals.

Believe in Yourself – Self-confidence is the most valuable thing you can have in your life.

Learn from the Best – Rather than doing everything on your own. Try to learn from the best of people who have already done everything that you are doing now.

Work really hard – The more you feed your goal with energy and love the more fruit it will give you. Go the extra miles. Distribute your energy evenly and focus on the areas which are more important.

What separates dreamers from achievers is planning and action.

Mentally tough athletes are more consistent. They understand that motivation may come and go and to truly be successful they need to consistently chip away at the things that matter most.

Create habits that help you achieve your goals and relentlessly stick to them, no matter how tempting it may be to go off course.

Great habits will help you overcome the tests and enemies you’ll encounter on your Hero’s Journey to peak performance.

No matter what bumps you face on your journey to attain football mental toughness, never give up. Break down any big problems you face into smaller more manageable ones and get out there and achieve your goals. Nothing is impossible!
