Building Confidence in Football

Building your football confidence will decrease anxiety levels. With low anxiety levels fear will not be a factor that will hinder your performance.

• Focus on the Zone
Focusing on keeping the mind free of clutter, tensions and off field issues, helps you focus on the game entirely. Football mental toughness is determined by the fact that a focused mind on the game is the one of keys to victory.

• Relax
Meditation is another technique propagated by football psychology. Only when the mind is relaxed the body is relaxed. This helps you to play in a more accurate manner.

The basis of sports psychology for football is to have confidence and motivation such that positive energies are benefitted from. A combination of mental toughness, talent and skills helps to build football confidence.
